Representative Andrew Byron Announces Upcoming Town Halls and Community Engagement Efforts
JACKSON, WY – With the 2025 legislative session complete, Representative Andrew Byron is ramping up efforts to engage with constituents through a series of town halls this spring across Teton County. Following his return from the legislative session, Rep. Byron met with several local businesses and is now finalizing plans for larger public forums to discuss key issues facing the district.
The Teton County delegation—including Representatives Mike Yin and Liz Storer, along with Senators Mike Gierau and Dan Dockstader—will host a non-partisan town hall on April 9th from 5:30-7:00 PM at the Teton County Commissioners Chambers. This event will provide an opportunity for community members to engage directly with their elected officials and discuss important legislative matters.
Additionally, Rep. Byron plans to attend Shelter JH’s town hall scheduled for May 8th at 5:30 PM, to engage community members on issues including affordable housing measures and property tax relief. Rep. Byron is also planning to participate in a Teton County GOP town hall on May 13th from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Teton County Fair Building, though the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
Looking ahead, Rep. Byron intends to host a town hall in Alpine in late April or May to further connect with residents in Alpine and the Star Valley Ranch area. He recognizes the importance of ongoing engagement in these communities. “As I settle back into daily life after the legislative session, I’m eager to continue listening to and learning from the people I represent,” said Rep. Byron. “These town halls are an invaluable opportunity for open and constructive discussions, and I look forward to hearing from my constituents.”
Representative Byron will attend the memorial services in Cheyenne on Friday and his celebration of life at the University of Wyoming on Saturday with his family to honor former U.S. Senator Al Simpson. Byron fondly remembers Simpson as his political science professor during his senior year at the University of Wyoming and offers his deepest condolences to the Simpson family.
Further details on upcoming town halls will be shared on Representative Byron’s instagram (@abforhd22) as they are confirmed. Constituents are encouraged to attend these events to voice their concerns and stay informed about legislative developments. Rep. Byron remains committed to open dialogue with all constituents to continue to advocate for the needs and desires of his community.
Sincerely,
Andrew P. Byron
